I had the privilege to be a vendor at this year’s Black Author Expo in Largo, MD on Saturday. I met some amazing people and sold many books. I am so proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone again. I was able to tell people about my self-published books and my design business! And to soak in the sight of so many talented authors just like me made me feel that I am not alone on this writing journey. We’ve gone through grit and grind to publish and market our books

I am on my way to self-publishing my Young Adult Fantasy Fiction book called The Fairest. Here is a quick update on what’s been happening behind the process. Last night, I did more edits on Book One. I’m feeling very happy about this scene change that I’ve done. I’ve been changing and adding scenes this week, but this one I feel would help develop Mageia’s character.
