Song Review: Saturate Us

Saturate Us sung by Bishop Andrew Merriitt and The Straight Gate Mass Choir (2015) is a beautiful song of praise to God. It’s a song of plea, asking God to shower the world with his love, mercy, and power. In these days and times we need God to replenish his people with strength and faith to get through these troublesome times. So much is going on and it’s important for everyone to remember to give Jesus all of our praise and thanks.

When I first heard this song, it played on Spirit 1400 AM. It was such a powerful song that tears came to my eyes. Later on, I found the song and played it at high volume in my home. The unity of the voices sent shivers up my spine and struck my heart with sudden humbleness. I felt exposed under the sight of God because deep down I demanded his attention. I did not sing ‘Saturate Us! Saturate Us Now!’ for myself and my family, but for the entire world. So many people are suffering right now, and here I was blessed to have a stabled-healthy-okay life. For a minute, I felt like I didn’t deserve it, but God’s mercy endureth forever for all, especially, those who call upon the name of the Lord daily. I took that moment to thank Jesus for choosing me to be born into a spiritual family who always puts Jesus first. Yes, we have our hard times, but we always make it through by calling on JESUS!!

So yes, I enjoyed this song Saturate Us. I listen it to all the time and encourage you to take the time to listen too. Let the song marinate into your flesh, into your heart, and into your soul. Let it change you, because when you seek the help and the ear of Jesus Christ, you cannot go backwards. You must go forward and through his door that is always open.

If you have heard this song, Saturate Us, please let me know what you think about it. How did it make you feel the first time listening to it?

My Prayer:We pray now to Jesus Christ to forgive your children all over the world. Saturate us now, Lord, and open heaven and let your everlasting love pour down on us. Your children need it because sin and hatred has waxed hearts cold. Death lurks the streets and hearts are draining of hope. Times are growing rough and the only way we can get through and see the light is by leaning on your everlasting arm.

God Bless and Remember Jesus
