Queen Esther
God favored her, set her above her enemies, and used her to save His people. Esther was born as Hadassah in the capital of Elam, Persia called Susa also known as Shushan. Her mother and father Abihail, direct descendants of the Tribe of Benjamin, died of unknown circumstances making her an orphan.

Music Review: When We Pray by Tauren Wells
When we pray, things do change. I recently stumbled across this song When We Pray by Tauren Wells (2017) despite hearing it multiple times on the radio. It is one of those songs that will last forever like the song Jesus Loves Me and many others. When the church starts praying, things do change. I enjoy the message related in this song. It’s uplifting and encouraging, letting people know that when you pray and place all of your trust in Jesus, things do happen. We are l

God Loves to Have Fun Too
God may be a serious god, but He loves to have fun too. Why do you think He gave the creation of man humor, imagination, creativity, and love? Why do you think He gave us the ability to smile and to laugh? The scriptures tell us that God created man in His image. This means everything about us, from our features to our inward appearances to our very personalities we are a part of God in many ways. Excluding the sin that we are fleshly born into, we have every capability to b

Song Review: Saturate Us
Saturate Us sung by Bishop Andrew Merriitt and The Straight Gate Mass Choir (2015) is a beautiful song of praise to God. It’s a song of plea, asking God to shower the world with his love, mercy, and power. In these days and times we need God to replenish his people with strength and faith to get through these troublesome times. So much is going on and it’s important for everyone to remember to give Jesus all of our praise and thanks. When I first heard this song, it played o

I Love Gospel Music
While most people enjoy music of rap, R&B, country, and so on, I prefer the sweet messages from gospel music. Listening to gospel music throughout my hectic days of work and school reassures my faith. It keeps me moving in times of boredom and despair. Gospel music highlighting the amazing power of God and the saving grace of Jesus Christ reminds me that I am not alone. My closest friend dwells nearby, protecting me, guiding me, loving me, and treating me with more respect th

Song Review: A Messiach Hebrew Song
This song is called “Adonai Adonienu.” It is written by David Loden and sung by a chorus. They are an amazing bunch. This song is the translated version of Psalm 8. So far I only know the chorus by heart, but I shall learn more! Translation (only the scripture version not the song)- Psalm 8 O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. 2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thi

Sight & Sound: Moses
I go insane whenever someone brings up Sight and Sound. If you don’t know what this is then let me tell you now. It is a theatre located in Philadelphia and Ohio where they do religious musicals on people in the Bible. Not only is it captivating with their cast of up to 100 but its soothing with their uplifting songs. Their voices are amazing as well as their acting. Just imagine “the Bible coming to life” and you’re right there to see it happen! This is why I get so excited.

Bryan M. Litfin’s Chiveis Trilogy- My Thoughts
I enjoy reading Bryan M. Litfin’s book series called the Chivies Trilogy. I love them so much I wish he continued the series to at least a fourth one. But then I’d probably want him to make a fifth one. (Laughs). I was walking around the Lifeway store (A store surrounding around religions mainly Christianity and Catholicism), and I came across The Sword . Now I am the type of young woman who enjoy adventureous, romance, mystical, fantasy, historical, and religious books. When
